Non-face-to-face using avatar technology counseling

We propose a non-face-to-face counseling system using avatar technology. We approach people who feel that physical and psychological hurdles are high for face-to-face counseling.

With the recent increase in telecommuting, companies are becoming increasingly unaware of the mental health status of their employees and the problems they are having. Employees are also becoming more likely to hold onto their problems or accumulate dissatisfaction with the company, resulting in resignation or illness. In the midst of a labor shortage, how can we notice employee stress and changes in physical condition in advance? One such solution is “avatar counseling”.

Anyone can access the counseling service remotely from anywhere, even at home. By using avatars as counselors, it is expected to make it easier for people to discuss their mental health and other difficult issues. Furthermore, during counseling, various sensors pick up the employee’s data, and AI performs vocal analysis and image analysis to visualize the stress level and quickly identify employees with high levels of stress. 

– Voice-guided energy index

If an employee who is under stress continues to endure it without telling anyone, is it possible to detect the situation? The voice recognition technology can analyze the mental state of an employee from his/her voice, even during a short conversation. In fact, in a demonstration experiment conducted by TRIBAWL with another company, the stress index of almost all employees rose during the busy season. Since judgments can be made only by voice, stress checks can be easily performed without the need for counseling. Although it is difficult to provide mental care to all employees, if employees with high stress levels can be detected, it will be possible to take countermeasures at an early stage.

The company also plans to provide medical care in areas where there are no large hospitals nearby, and to attract patients from overseas. This is a solution with many possibilities, and people look forward to its future development.
